An editorial cartoon drawn in spring, 2024, which commented on the nearly half a billion dollars the Trump Organization had recently been fined at the time following decades of fraud. I used the distinctive imagery of Monopoly as the overall frame both due to Trump’s general association with buildings and property, and the topic’s more specific concern with the habitual over or under-reporting of assets, and tried to faithfully recreate the style of the “In Jail” square because Donald Trump belongs in prison.
